Installation Guidelines

Receiving Protocol

1. Inspect exterior crates for damage before signing delivery receipt
2. Store flat on pallets — never on edges or damp ground
3. Unpack one crate at a time using rubber mallet (never crowbars)

Handling Procedures

• Use suction cups with rubber pads — minimum two per slab
• Always lift straight up; never drag across surfaces
• Two-person carry required even for smaller pieces

Setting Best Practices

• Apply adhesive to cabinet top, not marble surface
• Use high-quality epoxy or polyurethane with notched trowel
• Level with shims; verify with 4-foot level in both directions
• Maintain consistent reference line from wall for multi-unit alignment

Post-Installation Care

• Remove excess adhesive immediately with damp cloth
• Apply penetrating sealer after 24 hours — two coats recommended
• Provide care cards: mild soap only, avoid acidic cleaners, re-seal every 6 months
