Crafting Process
Step 1: Slab Selection and Cutting
We start with a premium quartzite block. Using a gang saw or wire saw, we cut it into large slabs, typically 2-3 cm thick. This machine ensures clean, even cuts to preserve the stone's natural beauty.
Step 2: Shaping the Table Top
Next, we use a CNC bridge saw to cut the slab into the exact shape for your coffee table. This computer-controlled machine gives us precision down to the millimeter, so your table has perfect edges.
Step 3: Edge Profiling
We then move to a manual or automatic edge profiler. This tool shapes the edges into your chosen style—beveled, bullnose, or straight. It smooths out any roughness and adds a polished finish.
Step 4: Surface Polishing
For that glossy, mirror-like look, we use a multi-head polishing machine with diamond abrasives. Starting from coarse grit (50) to fine (3000), we buff the surface until it shines. This step enhances the unique patterns.
Step 5: Sealing and Finishing
Finally, we apply a high-quality stone sealer using a sprayer or brush. This protects against stains and spills. After drying, we inspect the table for any flaws, then package it carefully for shipping.
